The author of this is obviously not in college. Otherwise, Ruckus.com would no doubt be #1. My friends all over the country download free music legally, as do all of their classmates. All you need is an address with .edu

I love Pandora! I've discovered countless numbers of my favorite bands on there and they even have a lot of bands and artists that most online radios don't have and a whole lot that iTunes doesn't even have.

I also recommend spiralfrog.com despite the fact that the library they have is still somewhat limited. They add more stuff every day though.
