The Art of Music Mixing

DJ mixes are usually performed using Audio mixer and multiple sounds sources, such as Cdj, turntables and digital audio players, with the additional of special sound effects by using FL Studio software.

It is possible to create one by using editing software such as Acid Pro and Cool Edit Pro.Using pitch shifting or timestretching a music to match its tempo together with the currently playing music. Smooth mixing between the tracks without stopping the beat.

Many popular DJs release their mixes commercially on CD and also distributed directly via the Internet. Generally presented as a single unbroken audio, mp3 files. The DJ or fans allow the set to be burnt to a CD, or listened to, as a series of separate tracks in the way it would be produced as a commercial mix.

DJs often distribute their recorded mixes on CD or as digital audio, mp3 files via websites for promotional purposes.

Studio DJs have the luxury of spending more time on music mixing.
