The Beatles: Artists or Thieves?

Could The Beatles steal songs? Aren't they successful singers?

Everybody says that The Beatles are so good and that they are legends. But some people had the imagination to think they weren't so good. In fact a few people believe that they stole all the songs. Then, the next question appears: “where they artists or thieves?”

The first version of the story is the following. Lennon formed a band. McCartney and Harrison entered first, followed by Ringo Starr. They had a great success with their songs, but McCartney and Lennon quarreled and the band separated. After that each member of the band continued to sing. Lennon was the best of all of them.

And the other version. Lennon was a song thief. He was stealing the best songs from more bands. As soon as McCartney discovered this, he got out of the band, and Harrison and Ringo Starr did the same. But Lennon continued to steal songs. Imagine is one of the best songs he stole. Finding this out, McCartney hired a man to kill Lennon. And that man succeeded.

Now, we don't know exactly what the truth is. And it is possibly we will never know because Lennon is dead. But who stops us to think that McCartney was Lennon friend and helped him? He was able to separate the band to make the authorities less suspicious. And to put that man to kill Lennon from another reason. Some people think that McCartney found out that the authorities know about Lennon secret and there was no way to stop them. So he put that man to kill Lennon. In this way, Lennon's secret was safe.
